SEL lessons are only effective when teachers really use them and it is as easy as possible to do so. Our SEL lessons require no prior planning or printing out. Just plug and play with zero-prep required. The discourse is already built around the lesson content.

The difference with SEL lessons

Our Satchel Pulse content creators build discourse around lesson content to increase engagement, activate student schema, and drive reflection.

The lesson content includes:

  • 6-10 minutes for tier 1 students with a video and reflection/discussion questions.
  • 15-30 minutes for tiers 2 and 3 students, with check in, video, discussion, and optimistic closure, one of CASEL’s signature practices.

With our student self study, recognize the individuality each student brings to the learning environment by offering independent practice. Designed to completed asynchronously, students work on self study lessons at home or in isolated work environments.

SEL lessons and student self study features coordinate with Satchel Pulse Intervention plans. This supports students with their individual social emotional learning needs through a range of resources.
