#1 Screeners and diagnostics

Use the Satchel Pulse universal screener, designed specifically from the CASEL Framework, to assess all students on the 5 core competencies.

The Satchel Pulse screeners include a student self-assessment along with a teacher assessment. Students whose results indicate a need for potential intervention are automatically delivered a diagnostic assessment.

Satchel Pulse Tier recommendations and placements

#2 Tier recommendations and placements

Following screener and diagnostic data, Satchel Pulse provides automated tier recommendations for students.

Users have the option to approve all recommendations or only matching tier scores. This allows for a batch approval of recommendations where there is a score agreement between the student and teacher.

#3 Intervention grouping and planning

Once students are placed into tiers, they can be assigned to intervention groups based on a number of different factors including low SEL subskill, grade level or class.

Once groups are identified, students can be assigned one at a time or by group to an intervention. Satchel Pulse provides the tools to create, assign, start, and monitor interventions over time.
